ENUM is NOT a telephone directory in the normal sense, it's a way for a user to specify rules of how they want calls directed.
i.e. for telephone number +442071231234 there are NAPTR records and these might specify
mon-fri b/n 8am and 6pm try SIP:steve@kenradio.com
mon-fri other time tel:+447775xxxxxx
sat-sun Email:steve@home
Of course there should be ENUM entries for all the telephone numbers.
